| Summary |
Transnational spaces are dense and relatively stable economic, political, social and cultural relationships between people, networks and organizations that cross national borders. Using the example of the ties between Germany and Turkey, the contributions answer the following questions: What forms of cross-border activities can we observe among entrepreneurs, social movements, families, religious communities and political organizations? What are the consequences of dense transnational networks for the integration of immigrants in Germany and Turkey, for civil society and the states involved. |
