Annotation The first of a two-volume set compiling in a single source a working knowledge of the polymer chemistry and physics of fluoropolymers, with detailed descriptions of commercial processing methods. Ebnesajjad, with nearly two decades in the industry, aspires to provide a reference as well as an introduction to the basics for readers involved in or students entering manufacturing, part fabrication, and end use. The first volume is devoted almost entirely to polytetrafluoroethylene and polychlorotrifluoroethylene and their processing techniques, which are essentially non-melt processes.
