Summary This report presents results of a preliminary investigation of methods for correcting the short-circuit current of photovoltaic modules for variations in the solar spectrum. Two types of methods were evaluated: (1) empirical relationships based on air mass, and (2) use of spectral irradiance models and PV module spectral response data. The report describes the methods of correction, the design of the experiment and data, the results, and analysis of the results.
