Summary The purpose of the briefing was to examine the role of discrimination and bias in the existence of ongoing health disparities for Native Americans by consulting with tribal leaders, key government officials, leading experts, health care advocates, and concerned citizens. By necessity, the disparities were explored and the causes documented.
