Kansas, like many other states, has produced its share of Hollywood character actors--such as frog-voiced Eugene Palette and little-old-lady Ida Moore. But certainly (if one discounts superstar Kansan Buster Keaton) the most famous of the lot is dippy-faced, eternally befuzzled Zasu Pitts, born in 1894 in Parsons.
