Summary
This publication presents the reports from the Math Online (MOL) study and the 2002 Writing Online (WOL) study. Both studies are field investigations in the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Technology-Based Assessment Project, which explored the use of new technology in NAEP. The MOL study and the WOL study address issues related to measurement, equity, efficiency, and operations in online mathematics assessment and in computer-based writing assessment respectively.
