Report to Congress [electronic resource] : the Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act of 1999, section 3006 concerning the abusive registration of domain names.
The anticybersquatting legislation requested that the Department of Commerce consider and recommend guidelines and procedures regarding the use of personal names in Internet domain names used by others, malicious use of domain names to harm reputations, practices to deceive consumers, etc. This report is in response to those requests. Includes support from the Patent and Trademark Office.
