A plan to provide health care insurance for all Kansans was the subject of hearings last week before the Senate Public Health and Welfare Committee. The sponsors of the plan, titled the Kansas Health Care Act, are Senators Doug Walker of Osawatomie and Wint Winter of Lawrence.
